This prevents personal injury or damage to property. Safety through self-locking If attempts are made to push the operator open, it counteracts the force by self-locking. Even with closed doors that are exposed to strong winds, the operator pushes independently against the wind load. Power failure - what then? To open your door even in the event of a power failure, the mechanical emergency release can be operated manually using a key.
